Who Doesn't Love Autumn?!

                COW POOP
Lots of things happening---we finally have Indian summer!  As of this date, we are all thinking of and praying for Billy, who is home from the hospital with pneumonia.  Get well soon, Billy!
This is a hasty update so I don't miss my Halloween deadline!  I am in NJ and have been sick the last 24 hours----hoped to visit Billy but don't want to give him whatever it is that I have.

CAROL & JIMMY take their annual autumn trip.

From Carol:  "Here are some pics from Sleepy Hollow.  We went to see Washington Irving's home (Sunnyside) and had a beautiful walk through his property.  We also saw his cemetery plot at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.  We took a tour at the Old Dutch Church and its cemetery, also, which is adjacent to the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery and the Headless Horseman Bridge.  We ate at the Horseman restaurant a couple of times (great food).  We toured the Phillipsburg Manor (beautiful old Dutch manor and working gristmill---very peaceful there), and Lyndhurst (home of a former new York mayor).  We shopped in Tarrytown at night and the trees were lit up like in the Corning, NY, "Sparkle" (a local Christmas event).  We also went to see BLAZE in Croton-on-the Hudson, a show with over 4000 pumpkins, all shaped into giant sculptures and very intricate designs.  We had a great time."

Tim, Jr. with Reagan in the pumpkin patch---famlily traditions in the making.
Bennett gets in on the action, too, with a mini pumpkin.

Kerry got this NO Jersey for Timmy.  Alas, the Saints have taken a dive in the meantime.  But true fans must stick by their team!

Next update:   pictures of Sister's 60th anniversary, fantasy football standings  and  more.  Stay tuned, and Happy Halloween everyone.  Next up:
Thanksgiving----really the best holiday of them all!

Lin and Mary Ann took a weekend trip to the Adirondacks. Anywhere you can drive with hills and trees is the place to go this time of year!

On their way to SALMON RIVER.

Hope they checked for these!

Rustic and cozy accommodations.

A night out on the town---Italian night at the local restaurant.

Apple crisp---I was the only one who had dessert.

Fall Happenings

COW POOP  - The sights of fall:
Football and fall just go together.  Kevin sent me pictures of his son, who plays on the JV team at Liberty H.S. in Eldersburg, MD.  (I think his name is Cameron, but didn't verify with Kevin.)  He plays running back and linebacker (oh yeah---you play both ways in high school)!  It brings back memories of our boys' football days. It's so much fun.
Nancy is enjoying the zoom feature on her new camera!
Turkey crossing at Barry and Nancy's.

"Let us at those turkeys!"

Tommy and Judy's grandson, Tommy, got to attend a Cubs game in September.
He's a chip off the old sports block!

Timmy and Kerry went into New Orleans and enjoyed a ride on a merry-go-round on a warm, fall day.
And here is an unusual, small frog that is found down in the Bayou state.  Timmy snapped this guy while taking nature photos.

Nancy took a picture of Lew's new toy:  a tractor, complete with a backhoe.  He says he really needs it.

Signing off from hillbilly country.

Rain Go Away

COW POOP
This is not what we expect in October.  It's been rain, rain and more rain.  Oh well, not much point in grumbling.  I just hope we get some Indian summer around these here parts.
Where are the FOLLOWERS?  Sign up to follow, please.  If only a few in the family check out the sight, I may have to rethink if it's worth the work.  So stop hiding in the shadows!

Congrats to Tommy and Judy---another grandson.  Congrats to Alison and Andrew, also.

Dinner with  new baby Spencer.

 Judy always does such cool
stuff with the grandkids.  This
looks like a Halloween pudding?!
Send me the recipe, please, Judy

Tim Jr.'s daughter, Reagan, playing in the sprinkler outside their temporary home.  They have now moved into their new home.

This is what keeps PETCO in business!

Time for another cup of coffee.  Bye!  Be sure to leave a comment now and then!
