I don't have a lot of pictures, but here is what I do have:

Nancy and I had a day out shopping a week ago.
Bed, Bath & Beyond is always a fun place to go!

Lunch at Panera Bread warmed us up.

Sadly, Lola is gone, but Andrew still has his pal, Alex---truly a boy's best friend~

  HAPPY THANKSGIVING

I hope you all have a wonderful day, complete with good food, family, friends and a truly thankful heart

God bless you all!
         Thanksgiving 2017 for many people---LOL!
Food for thought:
Romans
Pay everything you owe. But you can never pay back all the love you owe one another. Whoever loves other people has done everything the law requires. Here are some commandments to think about. “Do not commit adultery.” “Do not commit murder.” “Do not steal.” “Do not want what belongs to others.” (Exodus 20:13 15,17Deuteronomy 5:17 19,21) These and all other commands are included in one command. Here’s what it is. “Love your neighbor as you love yourself.” (Leviticus 19:1810 Love does not harm its neighbor. So love does everything the law requires.
  PS:     Also worth reading as it ties in to the above scripture theme:

Fall is the best time of year in western NYS.

I will post a bunch of odds and ends, as I've either deleted or lost some material I had over the last few months.  Sorry.

A Fabulous, Fall, Family Wedding!!!
Many of you have probably seen these pictures on FB, but they are worth a second look.  The wedding venue was amazing---simple yet elegant.  We Allens all felt at home with the country theme.  A beautiful day for the Erin and Vincent!!!!!!!

It couldn't have been a better day---CONGRATS, Erin & Vincent!!!!

A new restaurant opened in Bath, NY, and that is big news
in a small town.  It is a 1950's theme---plays songs from that era and specializes in burgers.  Nancy and I checked it out this past week.  Food was excellent---a tad pricey, but worth it.

"Maybe Baby Burgers"

Even the bathroom was very cool!

Nancy & Barry celebrate 23 years of marriage!

A rainy Monday overnight-stay at the Hampton Inn in Penn Yan (right on the water) turned into a gorgeous fall day on Tuesday.  They drove to the Belhurst Castle for lunch and reminisced about their honeymoon spent at that very place.

 Nancy, sitting near the fire pit at the Hampton Inn.  This is as close as they got to the fire pit as the couple in the picture below hogged it all night!  Outrageous, I tell you!!!!
Boooooo!!!!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, NANCY & BARRY!

Remember all the fuss about the ECLIPSE last summer?
One family member had something to say about it.

Tommy said, "Total eclipse, total FLOP!" (at least in TEXAS)
Poor Judy, all the work on that cereal box for nuttin'!  Ha!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The "baby"of the family turns 60!
All the best to our little "bro!"
Marathon Runner
My daughter-in-law came from NJ to the southern tier of NYS
for the WINEGLASS MARATHON on October 1.
I staked out a spot outside my apartment building and watched for her.  She saw me first and yelled, waving at me---I barely got this shot with my camera.
I think her time was 3:53.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
_______________
Carol & Jimmy's son, Jamie, celebrated his 30th
birthday recently.  The entire family gave him a surprise party.
That evening  they enjoyed a bon fire.
NOELLE with some of the guests.
Thirty seems so young!  Have a great year, JAMIE!
******
Carol STILL makes jam every summer (all the rest of
us sisters have long given up this labor).
Her specialty is seedless raspberry jam.  It sure looks
delicious!
++++++++++++++++++++++
And last May, Barry celebrated a birthday.
In case you cannot read it, the underwear says,
"World's largest source of NATURAL GAS."
The perfect card for the gasman of the southerntier
Have a "frackin" good year, Barry.
I believe in miracles!
Who would have ever believed Tommy would be able to come up north to visit the kinfolk again?!
In September He and Judy did just that.
What a precious  time it was.  God is good!
Last but not least,
Andrew and Allison are enjoying having a son, Gregory, at
a big-time football school.  How exciting!
This past weekend they traveled to the University of Mississippi
for Parents' Day and took in a football game---Hotty Toddy!!!
(look that up if you don't get it)
