21 Days Until Spring!

COW POOP
The end of the endless winter is in sight---down the road, but
in sight, nonetheless!
Linwood has major surgery on his shoulder on March 4.
Billy's pacemaker surgery went well and he was home the same day.
Nancy has her scan on March 2.
Let's remember these who  need our special prayers.
On a more cheery note,
Carol and Jimmy are headed to Louisiana to see Timmy and
Kerry on March 2.  I wish I could stow away on the plane.
That's about all the news from the barnyard!

The last weekend in February, Barry and Nancy get outside on their snowmobiles.  No sense in fighting it!

Brett is doing well after his back surgery and eye problem.  I think he returns to work in about one week.  Wegman's, his employer, sent him a very nice gift basket to enjoy, and it included this cute toy for "Ronin."  They think of everything!

Misc. Pictures

                                                 COW POOP
I overlooked some pictures so here they are.  A news note:
Billy is scheduled to have his pacemaker replaced on February 25.  He recently had surgery on his hand for carpel tunnel and it was successful.  Nancy has a scan coming up on March 2, too.  Keep sending news!

Timmy had been growing his hair this winter but decided enough was enough and cut it.  I do believe I see silver thread among the gold!

Nancy's Valentine Day
It was home-cooked delights for Valentine's dinner:  homemade Alfredo sauce on spaghetti, chocolate-dipped strawberries, and heart-shaped sugar cookies.  (Watch out, Nancy, as the food police will be at your door before you know it!)
Barry took this picture of the deer eating the apples that they put out, nightly, for them.

"Geisha"---life is good!

CRITTERS:  Blast from the Past!
I believe this was the very first time I watched "Radar."  I taught him the importance of dressing for dinner!

Keep the pics and news coming.

A Taste of Spring

COW POOP
The temps are flirting with 50 today and spring fever is in the air.  But we all know not to get too carried away as more winter is surely in our future.  I ordered a forsythia wreath yesterday  from ETSY.  It will be here soon and ready to hang outside in about a month.  I've never ordered from ETSY before, so we shall see ...
Linwood has major shoulder surgery on March 4 and Nancy has her annual scan on March 2, so lets remember to pray for them.  Brett is recovering well from his back surgery.  Billy and Carol---where are you?!  Send pictures!  The rest of the kinfolk just keep on keepin' on!

                                                        T & J's January Cruise

They sailed out of Baltimore and went
under the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.

I know they were at Cape Canaveral, Key West and the Bahamas, but don't expect me to keep it all straight.  Use your imagination!

Timmy sent this a while ago to show the beautiful blue sky down in Louisiana.  "Carlie" and "Tink" are enjoying the mild weather down there.

Lew is playing "let's make a deal" with the Matchbox and Hotwheels cars, but Andrew isn't interested.  He wants them ALL!

Erin and Sam watch "Missy"
enjoy the new toy they brought her.  Someone made a fortune on this toy (an empty water bottle stuffed in a furry outside).

Timmy & Kerry's sweet little granddaughter, Reagan, was hospitalized for three days having trouble breathing.  Your heart just goes out to her.  I have not heard further news so assume she is now home and doing well.

"Bruiser" loves being outside with the Barry-man!

That's it for now.  Keep in touch, ya'll!

C O W   P O O P
It was a great Super Bowl.  Now on to March Madness!
Remember to pray for Brett this Wednesday, 2/9, as he has back surgery.
A typical Saturday in REDNECK country!
Lew let the diesel fuel run out in his tractor, a huge "no-no!"  Barry to the rescue!

As Nancy and I watched from the kitchen, sipping hot coffee, Nancy exclaimed, "Oh no!  I've never seen Barry have to read a manual!"

Barry solves the problem and is riding high!
I'm soooo glad I do not have to look out the window while sitting at my kitchen table and see that tractor, stuck in the snow!   Thanks, Barry!
