It's crunch time. Gotta shop tomorrow for the Super Bowl snacks. I'm going to make mini Swedish meatballs on Saturday. We will have a fresh fruit tray with raspberry fruit dip, cheese, crackers, chips and Wegman's artichoke Asiago dip---delish---, veggies, pepperoni and other snack sausages and I may even give Carol B.'s famous chocolate chip football cookie a try!
I got creative and made a centerpiece for the table. I am for the Packers and Lew is for the Steelers---hope it doesn't get ugly, ha! Lew's sister and brother-in-law are coming over. And don't forget to check your ANIMAL PLANET station Sunday afternoon before the game for PUPPY BOWL VII! It's a blast and too cute!
Who are you rooting for???
While I don't honestly care who wins since the Saints got ousted, I think it will be a good game and I'm going to pull for the Steelers. You know, Black & Gold is Black & Gold. Kerry will be painting as she doesn't care one bit about the game. So after I play with the band at this weekend's services I'll be heading to the home of one of our drummers. We were at his house last year when the Saints won - you might recall that pic of me holding Kerry up in the air. But that's it - I'm pulling for the Steelers.
