Good Times in Louisiana

COW POOP
The fun continues for C & J as they aren't missing a thing, thanks to their gracious hosts.
PART III of our virtual vacation.

Fueling up on the java before a day of sightseeing:
"Carlie" (left) finally makes an appearance.  I think the doggies will miss their guests.

 From the local newspaper:  Marines  march, Kelly Rippa and Andersen Cooper on a float.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is Oak Alley----they really don't look similar, but I still mix them up!  duh!
BELOW:  In front of Destrehan Plantation.  I believe Kerry did a painting of this and it hangs over their fireplace.
A few more from OAK ALLEY
All that walking requires a cool drink.
Back home, the backyard gator comes out to greet the Yankees.
Jimmy relaxes at the pub table.
He likes it there so much, he may just buy this business.
More pictures to come.  Our vacation  is nearing its end!
  1. Thank you Cindy for posting so much from C&J's visit. The doggies are definitely going to miss the Buffum's! The white picket fence plantation home is the Destrehan Plantation, but just for the record, the one above that is still the Oak Alley Plantation. It's hard to tell sometimes. And the gator wants C&J to come closer for a look. Much closer. 8^) And the pic of C&J&K at that counter with the clock that says 12:39, well, they were buying a mint julip of course! Happy Mardi Gras everyone!
