Visiting the Kinfolk

COW POOP
This is a short break from our virtual, Louisiana, vacation.

Today Nancy and I headed over to see Uncle David and Aunt Betty.  I had been promising that I would bake scones for him.  I brought Nancy along as a back up (in case my new scone recipe was a flop).  Now wouldn't you know she just had to show me up baking an apple pie AND blueberry coffee cake for them!

Uncle David is in the St. Patrick's Day spirit

This is their uber cool gazebo, and I do mean cool in more ways than one!

Nancy likes to take the unusual picture.  You squeeze this little stuffed guy's hand and he plays:
"When I'm 64," the Beetle hit.
(Click on the picture to enlarge and you can read what is  on the tee shirt.)

I hear that Betty just loves that song and squeezes his hand every day.  However, David has limited her to three squeezes per day, as he is not quite as fond of the
tune!

I am saying, "Okay Uncle David, fork over the cash for the HD webcam you talked me into buying!"

As you enter their home, a beautiful aerial picture of the Reagan farm is hanging on the wall and the book I made about the farm and Theresa sits below it.

We had a very relaxing visit with them in their charming home.  After we left, we dropped off some goodies for Aunt Theresa, but did not stay long.
It's good to see the kinfolk!!!!!!!!!!!
