I've been a busy bee mowing the lawn and getting out and about.
Hope you enjoy the update.
Happy Memorial Day
Timmy Visits The Kinfolk
I fixed dinner one night and made an extra lemon meringue pie for "Pi Man" to take with him.
Timmy and Roy always make time to have lunch and catch up.
Barry multi-tasks, visiting with Timmy while working.
And Nancy has to keep that grass mowed.
All work and no play---you know the drill. Lew and I stopped by on Mother's Day and they broke out the 4-wheelers.
Nancy and I in our LG tee shirts.
Nancy gets a card from little bro.
Nancy, Timmy and I stopped by David and Betty's home one morning and then headed to JELLY BEANS for breakfast. We had a great time visiting (and eating).
After breakfast, Nancy, Timmy and I made the short trip to Addison so Timmy could see Aunt Theresa's grave.
Barry celebrated a birthday while Timmy was there.
As you can see, "Bruiser" was very excited about the festivities!
SUGAR! Pie topped with chocolate cake, a donut hole, a cookie and a jelly bean. He ate it all:0
Timmy missed his dogs and cats so he gave "Bruiser" lots of attention.
He had a great trip, but there's no place like home.
Mary Ann and Lin were in Tennessee for Lin's youngest daughter's wedding while Timmy was here.
Bride Brittany and the wedding party. The reception was held outside.
Lin on a carousel in Chattanooga.
I ask you: "Is this southern hospitality?!"

May is Prom Time
Connor, Christi's son, and his date for the senior prom.
Nancy, Barry and Lacey went to the park for the picture-taking session. It's always fun to see the kids dressed up---they look great!
****************
This was done by no "Care Bear!!"
For the second time this spring, a big, black bear visited Nancy and Barry's bird feeder during the night, knocking the top part off and feasting on the seeds. The Finch feeders (below) were knocked down, too.
"Bruiser" sensed the bear was outside and went crazy barking.
A neighbor got a picture of the bear with his night cam---
he's a big one!!

*This is way past due, but hope you still enjoy the photos
I lost some of the info so not sue where this was taken . . .
BUT I do know this was the St. Patty's Day celebration at Mollie's Pub in Tulsa.
They do it up right!
Now I have heard of "Hello Kitty, " (so cute) and
"Goodbye Kitty," (not one you want jumping up onto your bed) so I guess this must be "Convent Kitty!" She's a big one!!
The trip to Tulsa to pick up Sister is over and they are back home where vacation time begins.
Sister enjoys making rosaries out of rose petals and Judy is always crafting. Looks like this may be something for a new grandbaby?
Could this be three-handed euchre? If so, my bet is on Sister (especially if she plays anything like Aunt Rita and Aunt Theresa did).

Congratulations to David and Carrie on the birth of their daughter, Paige Judith. Another granddaughter for Judy and Tommy.

Finally,
Happy 15th Anniversary Mary Ann & Linwood!
That's all for now!

Thanks for the update! It looks like the Allen family know how to "PARTEE". Sister has a crafty look in her eyes:-) Congrads to Lin and MaryAnn! See you all at the reunion.
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting all these pics, Cindy, and for your hospitality when I was up there. And of course, thank you to N&B for everything they did and do. It was a great time, and I really enjoyed the 4-wheelin' and eatin'.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Lin & Mary Ann on their anniversary (nice pic!), to Lin's daughter getting married, to Connor on his graduation, and to Tommy Mayo on his recent appointment!
Looks like Sister had a nice time as always with T&J and their gracious hospitality they have always shown her. And I was at Mollie's Pub as well, when we went to Sister's 60th Jubilee! Yowsa!
See y'all for the reunion!
Love,
Timmy
Don't ever let Nancy deliver your flowers;
ReplyDeleteShe'll botch up those blooms in a matter of hours.
Don't let her transport even one little poppy,
cause lately her driving's become rather sloppy.
When she takes a corner, that poor Queen Anne's Lace
ends up down on the floor; it's a royal disgrace!
We all must stand up for the rose and the daisy!
To give them to Nancy----well, man, that's just crazy!
We all know that flowers need sunshine and rain;
But what they DON'T need is my sis, Nancy Jane!
Hey gang, It's always great to see the family pics and to see what everyone has been up to. Thanks Cindy for your toils. Mary Ann and I are getting excited about the reunion !!! You know me, I'm the party animal, and I have many activities for the youngins as well all those that think their young at heart :) I have prizes !! Pass the word for all the family to come, more the marrier. Love to all. L-wood :)
ReplyDeletePS; that date is July 14th 10;00-9:00 hope to see you there.
Okay, fess up whoever wrote that poem about NANCY! It had to be Carol, methinks, or maybe Tommy?---but doubt that as he doesn't make comments since I started using "Blogger" for the site. At any rate: very funny!!
ReplyDeleteHaha, good poem Anonymous! I vote YOU to buy, pot and deliver the flowers and clean up the grave sites next year.
ReplyDeleteI KNOW it must be Carol. It has a Christmas Party ring to it. It did make me laugh. Good job CAROL!
ReplyDeleteGreat update Aunt Cindy!! I am relieved that convent kitty is keeping up with the dress code! -Allison
ReplyDeleteAllison, that is very funny---I never noticed!
DeleteFunny comment Allison!
ReplyDeleteHAPPY BIRTHDAY CINDY!
Thanks for all you do on this website!
Love,
Tim & Kerry
