Rainbow Bridge

So long, old friend.  You will be missed!

For "Friday," the highlight of every day was a walk.

He was part Dalmatian and perhaps part Beagle.  His stylish ears set him apart.

Because "Mom" and "Dad" loved football, he joined right in!

And, oh yes---where the food was, "Friday" could always be found!

Always room for one (or two) more!
"Friday" came to accept and even be best friends with the many cats and the dog who came to live with him.  Still, he knew he was
"numero uno!"

He got plenty of love and attention---what a life!

Just like clockwork, "Friday" knew the exact time of day that Barry would be coming home from work and was always on the lookout for him.

On May 5th, Nancy, Barry and Lacey gave "Friday" their last gift of love, letting him peacefully go to sleep.

He had a wonderful life and will be missed.  Our pets do add a lot to our lives and teach us so much.  Nancy and Barry---you gave him your best.

  3. I will miss Friday greeting me every time I came over to their home. He gave them so much happiness and they gave him the care and love he deserved. He had a wonderful life and is now at peace. I know we will be smiling through the tears, in time,----telling stories and remembering him.

  4. I remember calling my son at college to tell him of the passing of our dog.
It is very difficult and I am so sad that Nancy and Barry and Lacey have to go through this mourning process.
I still remember Tippy too after all these years.
You all are in my thoughts and prayers--
    Love you all there

  8. I'm so sorry to hear about Friday. He was a great dog, and such a lucky dog to have happened into the loving family he had. It is SO hard to make the decision that it is finally time to let a pet go. We're thinking about you, Aunt Nancy, Barry and Lacey. What a nice memorial page for him Aunt Cindy, thank you. Love, Allison

  10. We all loved Friday! There are no regrets, because he had the best life had to offer any dog!
As always, I love all the photos and updates on everyone. Now that the heat has hit south Louisiana, I wish ya'll could send some of your milder temperatures down here!
    Love,
