It's nice to have some photos to share with ya'll. Some news: Lew had surgery for a fractured hip (fell from a ladder) and is doing fine. Patty could use our prayers as she has been feeling unwell for some time.
The bi-annual family reunion is just around the corner (July 14). Hope you can be there!
Carol was on vacation the week of June 15 and invited me to come see her. Jimmy was on vacation, too. We went to Apple Hills for breakfast and browsed in their little gift shop afterward. This is my third visit to this place and it is a must stop whenever I go to Binghamton!
Another stop is the carousel in Johnson City. Just Carol and I went there to take a ride. It's free to the public, and on this day we were the only riders, except for one little boy (school was still in session).
Jimmy grilled out for dinner and we were all treated to Carol's homemade strawberry-rhubarb pie and cherry pie. YUMMO!
(Nancy felt sad because she couldn't go, so I ate an extra piece just for her.)
Carol makes the java to go along with dessert!

Good times on the deck with a view.

Is this Carol? Not sure.

Lacey made a special dinner for Barry to enjoy.
An ice-cold GENNY tops it all off.

Mary Ann's grandson, Davey, with parents Dianne and Jeff and the HUGE trophy! He won the Soap Box Derby Local Championship in Rochester (east division)---super stock division on June 2.
Great job, Davey!

Pi Man is makin' his homemade pies again. Stop making me hungry!

EN GUARD
She may not be big in size, but "Tinkerbell" guards the home with great zeal!
The cats could care less if anyone or anything is outside the window.
"Carlie" looks worried.
Oops, this should be in the Father's Day section. Oh well.
Timmy's grandkids, Reagan and Bennett, sent Grampy an
LSU burger flipper complete with bottle opener on the other end. This will prove most useful to the griller-in-chief.
He was also honored with some of the kids' art work.

"Milo" was not allowed in on the party fun---what a bummer! I'm sure someone snuck him some treats, tho.

Work, Work, Work
Barry has been working hard to finish the porch ceiling. above: He had to rig up a whats-a-ma-jig to do the job as he had no help on this particular Saturday.
Jim to the rescue!
Thankfully, Jim was able and willing to come help out on another weekend and the job is 90% done!
Nancy was ambitious and made strawberry jam. I decided to take a break this year. I'm sure I will regret it this winter.
******************
Carol became quite attached to "Clawed," cleaning him up for his trip to Savona.
*********************
Timmy ran in the Catfish Festival 5k run last week. His time was 26:05 (50-54 age bracket). He doesn't run many races now, but since this was local, he decided to participate.

Here is a nice photo that a photographer took of Kerry and Timmy at a wedding. Pi Man cleans up quite nicely!

and lastly. . .
This woodchuck is in LOVE---with Barry's truck!
Apparently he loves to lick the truck. Why? The truck picks up salt where Barry drives for his job and this guy loves his salty fix every chance he gets.
KEEP COOL!

65 pics, wow! That takes some time to get up, so thanks for that Cindy! Carol's strawberry-rhubarb pie looks great, as does Nancy's jam. Great pic of Tommy with the twins. Cute pic of Noah on the 4-wheeler. And I bet that Genny Light that Barry was drinking was a left-over from when I was up there in May! 8^) And I knew Barry had to show his "horns" sooner or later - even if they did come from Nancy. 8^) Way to go, Davey, on winning the soap box derby. Really, you just don't hear enough of things like this anymore, so great job to Jeff and Di for encouraging him to do this. And yes, the Pi Man had fun making... wait for it... wait for it... pies, Man! Pizza pie that is, of course. 8^) Cute pics of Kiera as always. Congrats to college-bound Connor, and Milo is a beauty. Thanks for getting our pet's pictures up, too. They really do bring us joy every day. The porch at N&B's is really looking good, so great Job, Barry! And thanks to Jim who is always willing to lend a skillful hand. FUNNY bear planter, y'all! And my time of 25:06 is a far cry from my personal best of 18:40 for a 5K, but that was when I was in my late 20's. But it was still good enough for 2nd place overall in my age bracket, so I'll take it - ha! And finally, I LOVE the pic of the woodchuck under the truck! Thanks again, Cindy. And I look forward to seeing you all on the 14th. Love, Timmy
