Summer Vacations & Staycations

COW POOP
It's been a busy time for everyone.  Some of you have seen these photos on Facebook.  But for those of us who don't do that, here they are!

Chris & Kevin vacationed in Alaska about one week before our family reunion.  They had a great time---and picked a good week to be out of the heatwave!

 The scenery is breathtaking!

I think many of us have Alaska on our bucket lists.  There is so much to see here in the good ole USA!  Thanks for sharing, Kevin.

Dianne celebrated the big 5-0 in June.  Her children held a birthday "roast" party for her.

Davey, Allyson, Veronica and Jacqueline hosted the party.

Dianne was a bit concerned what Deborah might say as she took the mic to roast her sis.

Call the fire department!  (Just kidding---50 looks really good on Dianne).

Mom gets her turn to roast .
                                  Have a great year, Dianne!

Brett Hikes with "Ronin" on His Staycation.

There is nothing like the great outdoors and "Ronin" enjoys
sniffing exploring.

More stuff from REUNION WEEKEND & MONDAY

On Tommy & Judy's last day (Monday) we met the Reagans for lunch in Corning.

Giant apple cobbler---run for your life!--- or even better, devour it!
 Uncle Dickie and Aunt Kathy
 Uncle Robert and Aunt Jan
Uncle David with Timmy (Betty was there, too.)
 Judy and Tommy

A Pre-Lunch Boat Ride

Captain Barry

Barry and Nancy take Timmy, Tommy & Judy out on the lake.
They went early in the day and the cloud cover made for a very pleasant ride.

Pics from Pi Man

Chef Pi Man's newest pal, GNOMEY, with the stir fry before . . .

. . . gettin' down to business.

Enjoying the camper.

Kerry retired from teaching at the end of this past school year.  She is now taking art classes and spends time in her art studio.
You just never know when or where GNOMEY will show up.
Did you know that an older, English cousin of GNOMEY's was in Derbyshire, England,  in 2005 at Todd and Natalies's wedding?
He was all over the wedding festivities!
I thought he was quite funny!

He was very impressed with Scott.

 What a "gad-about!"

Even the groom was in on the action.

Okay, no  more about Gnomes (for now, anyway).

****************

Kerry spotted this GREEN ACRES sign.

And Timmy had to get a pic with "the most interesting man in the world."

On the HOME FRONT:

It's grooming day for "Tinkerbell" and "Carlie."  "Carlie" gets a bath after Kerry gave her a trim.  "Tinkerbell," meanwhile, shivers on a towel, knowing her turn is next.

BACK to Reunion Weekend

Barry and Timmy visit Keuka Brewing Company.

And one last spin on the four-wheelers.
*********************

Cathy and Jim hosted his family the day after our reunion.
Jim had a sister and her family from France there.

Lastly, a couple of pictures of Nancy, Cathy, Erin and myself on Nancy's birthday---picking blueberries.

Oh, and can't resist this one:
Taken by Barry's "Trail-Cam," which takes
 photos of wild animals---'nuff said!

  1. The AK pics from Kevin and Chris are beautiful, as in Dianne and her big 5-0 roast pics. :-) Loved the gnome pics, and the ones of Gnomey in particular. Nice to see the Mayo Clan picture. I haven't seen Dennis and Cindy in forever. Looks like y'all had a nice time getting the blue berries on Nancy's birthday. And funny on that animal-camera of Barry's, huh? Although, I must say that is one HANDSOME animal in that last pic. 8^) Thanks, Cindy.

  2. Great pictures, as always. I agree with Pi Man...the Alaska pics are lovely, and like most of us, Tim and I would like to visit there one day. Maybe if we rub Gnomey's head and make a wish...
    Super job, Cindy!
