FOOD for Thought

Nancy and Barry enjoy going out to eat, and do so nearly every weekend.  They found a gem of an Italian restaurant in
Watkins Glen.

This past Sunday, with Mary Ann visiting, we were treated to lunch at Jerlando's(Thank you Barry!)

Jerlando's Ristorante

Watkins Glen is a neat town.
We love the atmosphere.

Lasagne for Mary Ann and me.

Oh yeah!

I apologize if I am overdoing this, but the previous weekend, Lacey was at Jerlando's with
N & B.  So I had to show their fun time.  They had their dessert at the next-door BEN & JERRY's.

Ben & Jerry's for dessert.
Mangia!
Garlic knots with dipping sauce. These are outstanding!

Moving on to Saturday's bridal shower for Cathy's soon-to-be
daughter-in-law, Rachel (Bill).
Mary Ann drove down here to attend the shower and spend a couple days with her sisters.

After the shower, dinner in Arkport at the Arkport Cafe.  Barry and Lacey were there, also.

Mary Ann stayed with me on Saturday night and with Nancy on Sunday night.
Rise 'N shine!

Spring in the Kitchen
I don't have a yard or place for flowers, so I got
a few bright napkins and put them in a jar on the
kitchen counter to bring the spring inside

Nancy and I gave Mary Ann a late birthday gift of
coloring books.

Robin Road has changed in the last few years with a large Bison farm.  Mary Ann wanted a pic for there FB page.
I thought those lumps were clods of earth---wrong.

Grandma Cindy had to post these pics of granddaughter
Catherine.  Her other grandparents recently visited Munich
for two weeks and took these pictures.

The Family:
Lovely recent  picture of Matt Mayo with his wife, Karen, at
a work-related gala.
Congrats to Patrick Mayo, here with brother Gregory (left), on his induction into the
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY!

Andrew and Allison Mayo's new doggies:  Juneau and
London.  Here they are playing "bity-face."  Juneau has the upper

That's all for now.

  1. Nice job Cindy. The road by the Bison is Robie Rd, not Robin Road, correct? Back to reality here. I sure enjoyed my visit. :) Mary Ann
