COW POOP
We all did Christmas in our own way, some traveling and some staying at home. Here are photos I have received---thank you all!
You all know our dear Aunt Theresa is close to going home. I know you will all pray that the Lord is especially close to her at this time.
And take a minute to leave a comment, thanking all those who contributed!
N A N CY & B A R R Y do up the holidays in a big way!
A tradition started by Lacey, they begin Christmas morning with a Grinch breakfast (hash and roast beast).
Nancy received these snowman valences as a "sister" gift, from Carol. Very cute!
Okay Nancy, we get the picture. You were very good last year!
Lacey loves Christmas and dons her cute Santa cap every Christmas morning.
Many who live in the area know there is a sizable anti-drilling movement (for gas) here. That is Barry's business and he attends countless meeting dealing with the public.
To lend support, Lacey created this custom tee for him.
He got a big kick out of it!

Brett and Christi's husband, Jim, watch as the gift opening is in full force.
Later, Brett was sent on a "MISSION" to find his gift.
His gift was hiding under a tarp in the N & B's garage. It was a new garage door for Brett. A manly gift!!
***************************************
Forget the books; Lacey got her Nook.
Games in the afternoon are a tradition.
Lacey made healthy dog treats for all the canines. Very impressive.
"Bruiser" lays on the wrapping paper so no one takes it away! The gift isn't too bad, either.
"Friday," nearly 12 years old, still has some of the Christmas spirit left in him!
Desserts and good ole Wegman's eggnog topped of a fun-filled day.
Yes, the MOONS know how to keep Christmas well!

A TALE OF TWO MAYOS
and I don't mean Hellmann's and Kraft
Cathy's old-fashioned tree.
Kiera got "Hello Kitty" ear muffs and it became a game of passing them around for everyone to wear. Jim makes quite the fashion statement!
Elissa's turn
Football jerseys were big gifts for the guys.
Bill strikes the "Tebow" pose---so guess what jersey he got!
Card games are so much fun---wish we did it.
Grandma & Grampa wouldn't miss the celebration, as well as Larry---Cathy & Jim's "adopted" son.
As "Missy" naps, Tom's dog, "Rudy," wants to be with the guys.
ONE MORE THING . . .
I never posted these pics of Kiera taken before her performing in her school Christmas program.
She's all girl!
The Other Mayos:
Santa spent extra time stacking the mountain of gifts for the family of eight!
Gregory and Patrick: looks like football jerseys were #1 in the family.
"Cubby" does not want his playground ruined by humans opening their presents.
The excitement of Christmas---Sean.
and Brendan.
Jasmine:
and Marissa:
"Radar"---
Dad, Andrew, calls this photo "Christmas fashion gone terribly wrong." HA!
Santa definitely earned his cookies and milk on this stop!

Oh my, this post is getting long. Still more . . .
"Ronin" is top dog in this house!
Santa/Brett had to put "Ronin's" presents up high, just in case he could not wait until Christmas morning to open them.
Is that the end of my gifts? I'm pooped!
***************************
Linwood hangs a stocking for the "mama" deer that visits their yard often, along with her family.
****************
Carol sent pictures of her grandchildren:
Jamie's little girl, Allsion, love tissue paper.
Alex and Andew got video games.
Steve's Aviana.
Katie loves the pink elephant from G & G.
A traditional photo with Santa for Noah and Aviana.
Noah is starting to look like daddy!
********************************
Timmy & Kerry put up two trees (that's two more than I had).
"Chip" and "Geisha" hit the sack early so Santa will come.
Out and about enjoying the sights of the season.

Dianne's three daughters are either in college or working, so having them all home for the holidays is special. Here they go to pick out the family tree.
This is it!!!!!
Clowning around.
Sisters home for the holidays.
Davey plays "Elmo" for all the children at Dianne's
workplace Christmas party.
And Davey before his school concert begins. This brings back memories of going to school Christmas concerts for us.
Renee's daughter, Tara, has been living with Dianne until her new apartment is ready. Dianne said it's like having another daughter around. That's what family is for!

Whew---that's it for all the family photos sent to me.
Hope they didn't blow your computer.
My picture taken by Andrew.
Happy New Year!!

You deserve an award for posting all those pictures, Cindy. Thank you for all the WORK that went into getting this up. Those desserts looked yum-oh and Barry's green jammy's made me laugh. Kiera is such a cutie, and just seeing the different family pictures made me smile. Great job!
ReplyDeleteGreat Christmas memories! Thanks to all who shared. LOVE the picture of Dianne's daughters. The kids are all so cute and we are so blessed to enjoy another Christmas.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a Merry Christmas was had by all! I give major credit to Andrew, Allison and Santa for keeping all of that loot straight!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the update Aunt Cindy! It is so nice to see everyone's photos! My prayers are with Aunt Theresa right now. Also with the Delanoy family, John's dad passed away last week after a long battle with cancer. I'm glad to see photos of Friday enjoying his family at Christmas! Kiera is getting so tall! She looked beautiful in her dress and shoes! I hope everyone had a very nice Christmas, whatever you did! -Allison
ReplyDeleteCindy,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed seeing all the photos from the various Christmas activities and gift-sharing. Made me want to be there! You're doing a great job, Cindy. Thanks!
Kerry
I love the pics! Especially the one with Cubby (psycho). I got a nook with a $100 b and n gift card, hexbug, and bottle caps
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are great! I love seeing all the little children at Christmastime. It brings back a lot of memories. And Cubby on the packages was adorable. And,yeah, I liked Barry's PJs, too! The lights on the trees are always so beautiful----it's a shame when the trees have to come down. Thanks for all your hard work, Cindy! Love, Carol B.
