"Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his faithful servants."                  Psalm 116:15

We have been blessed to have you a part of our lives, Aunt Theresa!

Please comment and share a brief memory of Theresa with us all!

  1. She was such a wealth of knowledge for all of us in the family----- I loved to hear her talk about the "old days". I remember when I was quite young, sitting next to her on the couch on Russell Street, and laughing about something I thought was quite funny; she looked at me like she wanted to laugh, but didn't----she just said, "You know, if you can't say something nice about someone, you probably shouldn't say anything at all." I always remembered her saying that, and told her so. She didn't yell or act mad, just said it kind of quietly. I obviously didn't always follow her advice, but sometimes I did. I'll miss her. 2. I will miss my Aunt Theresa for sure. She was like a sister and a very good friend.

  3. Aunt Theresa was always prim and proper---a real lady---a gem! She was big on behaving properly and doing things the right way. Carol reminded me on the phone yesterday how Theresa told Nancy, when Rita died, that she hoped there would be a respectable showing from our side of the famly! Ha, she never minced words and we love her even more for that. Theresa,---no matter where each of us are---there will be more love and respect for you on Wednesday than you could ever have imagined. We celebrate your life and thank the Lord for it! xo

  4. Cindy---thanks for having me on the mailing list and for doing the tribute to "Treet." She loved sports and she and Marty used to go down to Dick & Kathy's to watch the Super Bowl. I'll bet she was "rooting for 'our' team"---what a photo finish to a great game!!! I'm glad I was able to make my 60th Jubilee trip to NY two years ago when she was able to be up and around so we spent a two and a half weeks together, going to Mass and her Craft mornings at St. Catherine's in Addison. We both missed being able to get together with Rita on guitar, "Treet" on piano and me on the fiddle and singing our favorite tunes in harmony. It's hard to believe that the 16 of us are now down to four. Mom alwayss said "Only the good die young!" I guess the Lord is giving us more time to improve. :) My love, hugs and prayers to y'all from Tulsa, OK. Aunt Catherine/Sr. S.) Sorry I can't be there with you.
